Jonah is a unique hosting space for events and conferences at the Lagoon Hotel on Netanya’s coastline. It enjoys a variety of outdoor and indoor spaces – entrance gallery, spacious foyer, large terrace for gatherings and for weddings and of course, the main hall, all overlooking the captivating Mediterranean Sea, which is seemingly close enough to touch.
Jonah’s design language is timeless and can be defined as a warm, modern interpretation of colonialist lines. As befits a complex whose windows overlook the sea, the project has a kind of longing for the days of the great sailors. Movement, space, horizon, glory, courage and optimism…
The design emphasizes the use of natural materials and textures such as concrete, steel, wood, rattan and natural vegetation, while maintaining the originality and meticulousness of the details. The design is a framework story that gives character and context to the various spaces and yet does not impose itself and allows personal expression to any couple who chooses to use it.
