The lengthened dining table is made up of horizontal layers of birch-plywood that reveal themselves in concaves on the table, and create concentric ellipses and rings with varying topographies. The sitting, resonating with the seating on a bar, is patterned in a ‘zig-zag’, facilitating the space for conversation between the dinners. The concaves mandate the way of eating – as they are the platform for the food and the cutlery. The table is designed at the height of a bar.
